We are an activity company that specialises in the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and Arctic Nature. In addition to this, we also host photographic workshops pertaining to Deep Space, Lunar, Solar and Astro-landscape imaging. We tend to work with small groups (6-9 people) and, whenever possible, we also tend to base our activity programs in areas of outstanding natural beauty and, generally speaking, off the well-trodden-path.
My name is Andy Keen and I am a professional photographer and veteran Aurora chaser. For over a decade me and my team have focused a great deal of our time, effort and camera lenses on one of Earth’s most mesmerising natural phenomena, the Aurora Borealis.
During this time we have taken many hundreds, if not thousands of people from all around the world in search of the Auroras. So far, 95% of our clients have witnessed the Northern Lights with the assistance of team’s expert guidance. Moreover, we have also been featured in numerous national and international newspapers, magazines, as well as several TV documentaries such as the BBC’s BAFTA nominated “Little Stargazing”, French TV3’s “Faut Pas Rever Laponie” and Belgian RTBF’s “Le Jardin Extraordinaire”, for example.
In March, 2023 we also assisted in the production of a brand new TV documentary pertaining to the Sun and its’ effect on people around the world. The story follows me, Alex and Alan as, once again, we go in search of the Northern Lights. The documentary shall be aired in over 15 countries commencing from January, 2024. We are hoping that a trailer movie shall become available in either November or December, 2023. As soon as we have access to it we shall post a link via the blog. Watch this space!
A brand new 90 minute documentary coming to your TV screens soon.
We have just introduced a brand new series of Swedish Sápmi (Lapland) based Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) and Arctic nature adventures. These are all small group experiences, as we want each and every single one of our clients to have a personal, safe, unique and authentic experience.
“Andy Keen is an affable chap who I met whilst directing a film about the Aurora Borealis for BBC’s Learning programme ‘Little Stargazing’. We chose Andy to be our ‘on-screen’ guide due to his experience and local knowledge of the Northern Lights. He couldn’t have been more helpful to us in our endeavours, setting up authentic indigenous outdoor experiences for the children and their fathers in addition to hunting out the lights. It was a real adventure and one of the best filming experiences I’ve had – which went on to be nominated for a BAFTA. Andy is a warm, approachable and friendly person who has a genuine enthusiasm for life and the natural world. He loves what he does, and it shows. Get ready for some jaw dropping moments that you won’t forget in a hurry.”

Modern day cameras, and indeed certain high-end camera 'phones', are now capable of capturing truly amazing images of the Aurora Borealis. There is no substitute, however, for witnessing this magical natural phenomena with your own eyes.
